Vampcest

Angel sure is glad he beat the unbeatable challenge to grant Darla a new life only for it to be moot. Great job! Now get out.

Vampires have an odd relationship with other creatures in general. They're naturally sexual predators, and there are even prostivamps who give suckjobs to paying customers (I only invented one of those terms), but I've always been a little iffy on the whole lineage thing. I get that there are sires and whatnot, but they never seem to have any relationship. I guess turning into a vampire is more of a power boost than some sort of right of passage.

What I don't get (or don't like) is how every vampire is basically on equal footing. Why would someone who was sired by Skeezy Jimmy the Cokeheaded Vamp be just as powerful as someone sired by the Master or Dracula? I have Vampire: The Masquerade to thank for that idea.

Anyway, I saw Darla get ate by Drusilla and immediately thought "vampcest!" It seems wrong in the "my daughter is my granddaughter" kind of way.
