I was watching a ScrewAttack top ten video that listed ten franchises they thought should die. The second one listed was Dynasty Warriors, which I happen to love.
The criticism is completely valid: each game is essentially the same. There are extra characters and usually upgraded graphics or gameplay mechanics, but they are essentially the same thing.
But dammit, sometimes I want to run around with a giant spear and take out three hundred enemy soldiers without breaking a sweat.
Bee tea dubs, I used the Zelda 3DS because that's the one I have.
